Labscape recently attended and exhibited at the NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) Conference held in Philadelphia. This year’s conference theme was “Revolutionary Science, bringing the spirit of American ingenuity and dedicated focus to the science education area with three strands”:

2. Integrating Literacy Strategies to Revolutionize Pre-K–12 Science Instruction
3. Technology: Teaching Revolutionary Science in the Digital Age
These themes reinforce the need for school science labs to be current with today’s learning environments. The most common set up for a school science lab features the combination of a classroom and a laboratory. This arrangement provides the students with the space needed to observe the teacher during demonstrations, while the actual laboratory equipment for the students is located in the back or at the sides of the classroom.
